TV appearance on BBC’s Cowboy Trap – Robert Ozols Limited brought in to rectify other builder’s work
Lancashire based builders featured on TV!
Lancashire based building firm, Robert Ozols Limited, was invited by the BBC to put other builders work right as featured on that ever-popular programme Cowboy Trap. The team stepped into refit, retile and re-sanitise a bathroom in a house in Morecambe, Lancashire.
Presenter Clive Holland and his team were filming in Morecambe for the popular BBC TV programme Cowboy Trap. The program focuses on people whose lives and properties are currently in a state of chaos or disruption thanks to ‘cowboy’ workmen. Once the damage from work – or lack of it – is assessed, his team attempt to rectify the problems.
Robert Ozols who was brought in to rectify the botched job said: “A cowboy builder can devalue your property quicker than the time it takes for them to take off their ten-gallon hat and tether their horse! It’s exceptionally rare as a builder to be given the opportunity to rectify problems left by these people and then for it to be shown on TV.
To have been able to have helped this homeowner has been a privilege. The difference in the quality of work is at the core of this series which must be applauded for bringing this to the attention of us all.”
Clive Holland, the programme presenter said: “It’s always a pleasure working with local companies and specialists and Robert and his team proved that. The series has really hit a chord with viewers and there are still builders out there behaving improperly and causing people anxiety and stress as a result.”
The producers of Cowboy Trap, Mentorn Scotland, commented: “Cowboy Trap is always looking to make the lives and the homes of our contributors better. It makes a real difference to us if the end product is to their satisfaction.”
